Porcupine shoots 500 quills in poor dog face and mouth
Porcupine shoots 500 quills in poor dog face and mouth near a pond in California. The porcupines don’t attack anything since they mostly eat plants or sometimes insects and carrion. They only defend with their quills.
A bulldog from Oklahoma is gaining fans from all over the country. Bella Mae lived through a horrifying confrontation with a porcupine. The owners claim that Bella and their two other dogs were near a pond and apparently got too close to the wild animal on Sunday morning. Bella was injured the most.
The encounter with the frightened rodent resulted in Bella receiving emergency veterinary care for 500 quills protruding from her body and face. She had to undergo surgery to remove the quills; some of which were stuck in her mouth. Bella is back home with her loving owners, however she’ll remain on medication for some time.
