Monster Man sprayed a dog with hot water then locked her in the freezer. The man now is facing one charge of animal cruelty after he reportedly maimed his friend’s dog. The dog had severe injuries to his face and head as well as missing skin and hair. His eyes were also swollen and injured.
Per the report, the owner discovered the dog’s hair and drops of blood in the freezer section of her refrigerator. A local vet treated the dog, but it is unclear if the damage to the dog’s eyes will be permanent. The dog’s owner, Sara Durbin, said Bitty Boo is doing OK as of Friday, but is still shaken up. Durbin said “her heart is broken. Officers reported the suspect said he sprayed the dog with hot water in the bathroom of the apartment before putting the dog in the freezer section of the refrigerator for approximately 30 seconds. The owner said the suspect also used a hair dryer on the dog after she was removed from the freezer.
